About Dr. Lopez

Dr. Edrick Lopez founded the DFW Interventional Pain Institute with one goal in mind: helping patients get back to living their best lives through effective pain management strategies.

As a double board-certified, Harvard-trained, bilingual interventional pain management physician, Dr. Lopez has helped thousands of patients manage their back pain, joint pain, neck pain and migraine headaches with innovative treatments.

Dr. Lopez completed intense medical training at Harvard Medical School and the University of Texas Health Sciences Center. He graduated from Harvard Medical School’s residency program in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Boston, Massachusetts, and then completed his fellowship in pain medicine through the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center.

Prior to his medical training, Dr. Lopez completed a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan. He is also one of the few physicians to ever be selected and have completed a dual Medicine and Law program (M.D./J.D.) program at the University of Puerto Rico. 

Lopez's rigorous and well-rounded education coupled with his vast experience help give him the necessary skills to provide the highest level of care for patients from all over the DFW metroplex.
